Hello fellow EVGA users,

After re-assembling my loop ( took it our for 6 month cleaning and changing gpu block), I noticed that my gpu slagged a little, less than half inch, based on the distance to the right ram slots.

Should I be worried about this sagging problem? All the screws of block and backplate are correctly tightened, and I double-checked the block after assembly to make sure there was even contact.

Pics of the build are below, I even took a picture before running the tubing and did not see the sagging of gpu; that was kinda dumb, I know...

Thanks in advance for your help.

I am pretty sure every card sags a little because of the weight of the card. There is nothing supporting the right side or front of the card, which means weight will take a minor toll over time.

It isn't anything to worry about. If you want it even, companies do make support braces to add a level of support for the card.

You can even build one out of Legos if you have some just laying around doing nothing :)

Thanks Scarlet, you're extremely helpful as always :). I never paid attention to sagging card before until now because I just switched to a new case that has side window.

Well with the side window, Lego would be a great addition.  If you do a quick google image search you will see some people have gotten rather creative with their Lego supports :)

Did it this way since some of these are so huge that they won't preview properly.

@OP, What's going on with your RAM configuration? You're sacrificing your Quad-Channel bandwidth putting sticks in separate banks on the left side. Your right side is configured correctly for an Asus ROG board. (off topic noted)

Case: --InWin LE S-Frame #111/500--
Board: ASUS x299 SAGE WS
CPU: i9 10980XE (18C/36T) @ [4.0GHz - 4.5GHz]
CPU Cooling: Noctua NHD15S
RAM:
64GB Vengeance PRO Quad Channel @ 3.2GHz
GPU: ASUS RTX 3090 STRIX OC Edition
Display:
27" 2560x1440 Asus Swift 165Hz IPS GSYNC
Storage:
2x 1TB Micron 1100s SSDs RAID0 (OS)
2TB Samsung 980 Pro NVMe (Steam)
4TB WD Enterprise
1TB 10000RPM Velociraptor
SPU: Creative AE7
PSU: Corsair AX1600i

I knew some one will eventually notice this :))
My B channel stopped working a couple weeks a go, it's either the board or the cpu :(.
Can't send it back right now and be without my rig for a couple weeks (likely more with the awesome asus support) cause I'm in the middle of some very important project :(, besides the dead channel, everything else is working fine.

Well then, perfect excuse to go out and buy some? haha  You can even make a nice diorama inside your case :)  You have such a pretty window, but it's so boring to look at :P

now that you mention about it, I think it's a great idea. Gotta get me some legos soon, and give my wife more reasons to hate my pc :)
