Hi,

New member here.

I recently installed a GeForce 8400 GS to my Dell Win10 desktop (which has built-in DisplayPort, but no HDMI port). The card has three output ports: HDMI, DVI and VGA. My LG TV is connected to the HDMI port, and my desktop monitor is connected to the DVI port. The intent is to duplicate the two screens.

I can only get audio from one screen, but not from both at the same time. By changing Win10's Sound setting, I can select which screen would get audio, but not audio on both screens. Connecting with the DVI or the VGA port makes no difference.

Is it possible to set up this card so that audio is on both screens? This page seems to suggest that a DisplayPort is needed:

Thanks in advance.

Oops, the link is missing. Not permitted? The page is from NVIDIA Control Panel, "To set up digital audio on your graphics card".
