Hello.

I have some concerns as to the temperature of the GPU, the temps today reached max 73c, how alarming is this?

GTX 770sc ACX is the card in use.

Setting a custom fan curve might help. The fans are pretty quiet anyway. I can't hear them over my AC unit when at 100%. My classified never goes above 55C while folding and never above 65C while heavy gaming. But I have a custom fan curve that is quite aggressive.

How is the rest of your build looking?
    Case?
    Aftermarket cooler on CPU?
    Additional fans in your case?

From my understanding the 700 series should first start throttling above 80c, i would say 73c is pretty safe here in the summer months. Tho you can make a new fan profile as bg8780 typed.

    Case? - Haf-X
Aftermarket cooler on CPU? - Coolermaster hyper 212 evo
Additional fans in your case? - the only fans are the original case fans (1 x 230mm at the side and 3 x 200mm fans)

Yeah, that is still pretty high for that fan speed. What are you running when you get these temps and how hot is the ambient temp?

Thier is nothing wrong with that temp, thats exactly what temp mine maxed to (71c)

the 700 series cards won't throttle until 80c anyway

and for fan speed, mine idles at 40% and loads to 65% which is normal

Nothing terribly wrong with 63c, but it's worth noting that the ACX cooler, while QUITE efficient, requires that your case has sufficient exhaust to expel the warm air, otherwise the warm air blowing out the side of the cooler will just build up and recirculate inside your case.  That's likely what's happening to you.  My advice is to install 2 high cfm fans blowing OUT the top and rear of your case, and a decent fan pulling cool air in from the front and/or side.

With good airflow design, mine never top 65c even with 2xSLI in my case.
