Hey guys, I just got my evga gtx 770 and backplate today. The backplate came slightly bent on one edge, is this normal?... I noticed it was bent after I had all the screws out lol.

Also, while putting the screws back into the video card, I accidentally scratched the top of a square piece of memory (I believe is what it is) on the PCB. Is this something that could effect the performance or that I should be concerned about? The scratch is not very deep but noticeable.

Thanks for the information!

The back plate should not be bent. It should be straight as an arrow. If the bend is not affecting the mount of the back plate (not hitting PC board or anything like that) you should be OK. The scratch in the memory chip should not be a problem.
