I have a GTX 650 Ti SSC version which is overclocked fairly high right out of the box. I've been trying to see if it can be pushed even a little further, but no matter what I set the GPU speed at, it always never goes higher than the default 1071 MHz. Changing the memory speed works fine. I've tried using Precision X, and the old Nvidia Inspector, but the GPU never goes above the card's default speed. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.

I have the vanilla version and I can't clock it higher than 1071 or I get a driver crash and it self resets to stock. Seems to be the ceiling but kind of stinks that you pay extra for the SSC version when the vanilla caps at the same clock speed.

No worries. I got the card for $129 on Amazon, and still think it's a good deal for a small sized low power card, that performs as well as it does. I've seen reports of people getting the memory up to 6.4GHz. I haven't tried for that high, but had no problem getting to 5.8GHz.

Hi guys. Just a quick question - totally noob by the way so pardon my ignorance. Can I remove or lower down the factory OC? I'm having issues with DX11 games specifically Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider, and Battlefield 4. I've done several fixes for these games but just a hunch, I think these games are sensitive to OCd cards.

    Thanks in advance.

First to answer my own original question, I got the GPU O/C solved. I needed to reinstall the drivers.

Using the Precision X program, you can underclock and undervolt the GPU if you like. My card is stable at the default values. If I want to overclock the GPU even slightly, I need to increase the voltage. I can get as high as 1125 MHz if I up the voltage to 1150mV.

Thanks! I'll try that. The help is much appreciated. How much underclocking and undervolting have you done? What is the stable default value for your card?

1112 mV is the default voltage. I can get the GPU up to 1125 MHz, but get crashes at 1150 MHz. I haven't tried to go above 6000 MHz on the memory, but it runs fine at that speed.
