So a while ago( Say not even a month) I got really lucky :) and in spite of short supply I got myself 2 EVGA GTX 580 SC from the New Egg.
I ran it for a about a month now. And here is what i can definitely say. Those Cards Blew me away. Im very pleased with every aspect of them.
Here what I had before.

Yep a pair of 470 SC and I have to mentioned that those were really great cards for me. Fortunately enough They are gonna be stepped up to 570 right shortly.
Right after 580 purchase i also got Two hi-flow brackets and pair of Back plates. Plus a tube of IC diamond which i orderd from Frozen CPU.
Here I Have to thank FALCON. For if he wouldnt be so persistent about this TIM I wouldn't have tryed it. But all the logic and Info was on his side I could not resist. So Falcon  Thank you again for recomending it Ill give it Great Big A. :)
Armed with all that I went about Changing Tim and putting Bracket and Back-plate on the GTX 580.
Just a note. Before The installation of all above, I ran 580 with GTS250 for Physx for about a week at 830 core slock and fan at 85% All three card are obviously sandwiched together.
   Haven Bmrk would give me  From top down 580 at 78-80C / 250 at 65C / 580 at 72C
And games like: Fallout new Vegas/ Just Cause / Mafia 2 /Metro 2033 Would give me around 70-74C on top card ( plus couple degrees in titles with Physx)  and around 65-68C on the bottom. with fan on 85 and 75 accordingly. Temps at idle were 41 top and 37 bottom GTS 250 at 36C
To get the job done I used these tools:

Philips Precision Screwdriver, T6 Torx screwdriver. Arctic Cleaner / Purifier, Paper towels and 3/16 socket screwdriver. ( u can use needle nose pliers instead the last one).
I have to mention Just like so many before me did. The whole process very easy and doesn't take much time at all.
A little comparison of the card sizes:

Funny enough 470 just about the same size as 250 lol. But packs almost  3 times the punch in it.
To take the top cover remove  7 screws (4 at the top of the card and 3 at the bottom)

^I also replaced the Bracket with the hi flow one (three screws and 4 hex nuts on the DVI connectors)
For the installation of the Backplate you dont have to remove all small torx screws (refer to the Backplate for the ones that have to go)
Removed 4 Philips crews on the back to remove the heat sink. The block itself was pretty easy to remove, twist and pull and it should pop right up.

^Factory TIM looks good, Nice job.

^Both cards naked. I used a piece of PT to soak up the old paste. By the time I was done taking second card apart the first one was ready to go.

^Isnt she PRTTY
v and the block. Aka vapor chamber

^One of them had some sort of line on it not a scratch but a line. Looked like an ink. The one they use for the lettering on the block itself. Second card didnt have it. I dont think It affects cooling though.
For the TIM application I used Masking tape (blue tape) and a Razor blade. aplyed to the Chip and the block. Sorry  I forgot to take a pickture of it but here is how it looks. Thanks to mwparrish for a nice guide on 480.

And here we go. Two of them together in its beauty.

I also replace few fans on my 759 Classy, Redid CPU paste (also with ICD) and put those tiny little heat sinks all over the board chips.
(between the PCI e and to the left of the south bridge HS, Also the ones to the left of th RAM but u cant see it on this picture)

Here they ARE GTC 580 SC in DA HOUSE.

I know she looks a bit dusty but is only an illusion
And all this is powering 3 wonderful 23' LED screens from samsung. Which i got from new egg for 170$ each on black Friday.

The temps dropped quite a bit.
In Haven Bmrk top card now at 75C tops with fan on 80% and 67 on the bottom with Fan on 70%
All the game now in mid 60s and few titles (Mafia 2/ Just Cause 2) in the upper 60s-70sh on hte top card
At idle Top card is 36C / Gts 250 at 35 / and bottom is at astonishing 32C.
All I can say WOW.
Both card show wounderful SLI scaling in all the litles that im playing now. (Assassins Creed, Prince of Persia TFS, Just Cause 2, Saboteur, Batman AA, Mafia, Two Worlds 2, Metro 2033, AvP, Boarderlands) all at 5760X1080 resolution.  Or 4800x900 if I want 4X AA and 16QX AF.(I like to keep Frames at 60) I wish it had 2GBs of ram. Only one that thing. O well. Currently Im using 263.09 drivers and they work pretty good for me.
I am definitely planning an getting the third Card in hte future.

I would like to thank EVGA for delivering another great solid product. I have no regrets for spending 1000$ plus on those Puppies.
Thanks for reading I hope you found it useful.

PS. I appologize for some pictures quality.  I used soap box sony camera which is 6 years old. DSLR is on the summer to buy list. :)
Cheers

I'm not gonna lie I'm jealous. Your desk setup is something I would dream of having!

I will either find a way, or make one.
