Hi I just bought the GTX 570 for my custom PC and I plugged in two DVI connections from two different monitors to the video card.

However even though it detects both monitors, the 2nd of them won't turn on.  If I change the DVI cables around, then the 2nd one turns on while the first one turns off.  It seems like I can only have one monitor on at one time.

If I connect 2 DVI ports and an HDMI to my TV, I can run 1 of the DVI port Monitors and the HDTV monitor at the same time, just CAN'T do two computer monitors for some reason.

Someone please help!!!! Thanks

The DVI connectors you mentioned are they VGA-DVI adapters and both monitors are vga?  I have 2 VGA monitors both on a dual KVM switch.  One system has eVga gtx460 boards (intel mombo) the other has asus 570 (mombo is eVga).  Granted, I do not have an eVga gtx570.

I have driver 306.97 and after running that "Rigorous detect" I see the following (note there are 2 displays shown in the background)

After dismissing the popups (I do not have tv, hdmi or display port being used at present) one sees the two monitors.  I did have HDMI connected once and had 3 displays for testing powerdvd 12 (wont play with vga).

The same thing for my eVga460's in the other system.
Make sure both monitors are turned on and connected when you power up.
Win7x64 and 306.97

They are both DVI monitors, however they are two different monitors with two different resolutions.  Could that cause a problem?

On Nvidia control panel, it detects one of my monitors as DVI but the second one (the one that doesn't show up) as a VGA port even though it's connected through DVI.  And I can't change it.

Seems like a bad cable, cable too long, or a pushed in pin on either the monitor or gtx570 that makes the system think you got vga adapter.  A long cable can have signal loss.   If the monitor not working right also has a vga connector then try vga adapter.  Different resolutions should be OK unless very large.
Make sure you dont have a shorted pin-pin in cable connector.  I had that happen once.   Use a magnifier and make sure all the pins are recessed the same amount in the gtx570.  I had to take the shroud off on one board and push a pin back into the socket.
