I built a new rig with SLi'd 570's over a week ago and have starting tweaking and OC'ing my system. The cards can get hot with my CPU Overclock and a slight OC using afterburner. However when I went to buy the backplates for cooling and looks it says they do not fit HD cards. Did EVGA or does anyone know of a ETA?

Don't the 560ti backplates have 560ti branding on them?

They don't do very much for cooling, if anything at all. They are mostly cosmetic. The most I have seen reported was 3c drop in temps. Most report nothing at all or even a slight increase but that could be due to case temperature fluctuation.

Case - Phanteks Enthoo Evolv X
    Mobo - EVGA X570 FTW
    CPU - AMD Ryzen 9 5900X

Any news on the 570 HD backplate? I noticed that the day after the 680 was released, backplates were up for sale.
So many companies lose customers because they put all of the time into getting knew ones not realizing that the best customer is the one they already have loyalty from. To lose that customer does more damage than any number of "new customers" the company can add? New customers are added. Old customers multiply themselves and create new customers through multiplication rather than addition.

How foolish are the American Corporations that are so foolish to make assumptions while ignoring the emotional makeup of a human. If a company wants to really grow then take care of your own first. This is a biblical principle found all throughout the Bible. If God loved us in that while we were yet sinners, how much more will he be there for us once we become His child. God doesn't let go. Companies do!! They do not function from a foundation of absolute truth and in their attempts to be relevant they violate truths that do not change.

Social media is so misused by corporations that I am actually writing a book on the issue and this small but symbolic failure of Evga to neglect to provide a backplate for a card that has been out for a year and is an expensive high end card that could be their most popular card is a window into the discussions that take place behind the "walls separation".

Always look deeper when a Corporation fails to provide something that is an obviously needed product for the customer and ask some questions that go to the foundational issues. And remember, there rarely are "oversights" within a large corporation. Each decision to do or not to do has no doubt been presented, discussed, and then more often than the company can afford to tell their loyal base disheartening news it chooses to not provide a “small money maker” product that is based on a decision to care for their own and not on financial gain.

Not providing this backplate for the GTX 570 HD cards is a window into the real corporation's leader's personal mission statement; unlike the one mounted on the walls when you enter those thickest walls of the company- the office of the CEO.

and so we are back to square one.

it would be nice if any EVGA representative (e.g. a Product Manager) chimed in and explained WHY they didn't ever manufactured our fancy needed backplates and high flow brackets for 570 HD cards ... I think it's pretty much the most popular (maybe after expensive 580's) high end card of 500 series stock, especially that reference models by EVGA are often very hard to come by and many of us chose to go with better priced or more available HD models instead ... a bummer (mostly cosmetic, but still LOL!).

    Hello,

Someone in this thread confirmed that 560ti backplates fit on 570 HD card.
However i would one more time ask if this true? Does these backplates fits on 570 HD card with 2560 MB Video ram?

Evga if you are reading this, I need to know if I also can get a full refund (including shipping as the part alone is not expensive) on my purchase of the same backplate as I also was led to believe that the 560 plate would work with 570 HD. You really need to consider taking control of this thread so it is EVGA that is dispelling the "bad information" rather then forum members telling each other. Let me know if I should pursue this as I would prefer to not make the phone call if it requires all kinds of explaining. Thanks and no hard feelings here.

Took a company almost a year to put out a water block for the 570 HD from the release. I ordered water blocks when I got my cards and then found out they didn't fit. Returned them and then waited for some company to start producing the right ones. Got correct water blocks from EK.

Water blocks are expensive compared to a backplate. Hope you got your money back!

It would be nice for EVGA to make a back plate for the GTX 570HD but there really isnt a need. The 560TI back plate works just have to mod it a little.

Doesn't look like he did anything other than use only the four tiny screws. However, if that 560 TI is in paint he can remove it with acetone or finger nail polish remover which is slightly the same.

Oh I see now. He drilled out the holes that the screws would go in that hold then heatsink to the gpu. But now I can't find the backplate anywhere!

Does EVGA have a backplate for the gtx 570 HD or planning to restock the 560ti backplate? Cause this thread has been up for a while as this is the first someone has said to ask tech support. It's nice to know someone finally looked at this

The 500 series has been out of production for a while, so I don't think backplate will be made any longer for the 500 series. As mentioned in post number 24 there are also individuals and companies who can make custom backplates.
