GTX 460 2win Black screen only after enable SLI

When I enable SLI the screen goes black.
 
I have tried the card in:
 
Asus p5n-d 750i SLI
Asus p5n32e-sli 680i SLI
Asus Maximus Formula x38 (with hyperSLI)
 
All prove to have the same issue of once SLI is enabled the screen goes black.
 
The driver I am using is 302.82 on Windows 8 x64
 
I have tried updating the BIOS on all three motherboard to the latest, tried an 850w power supply as well as a 1kw.
 
I have also tried using Driver Fusion to remove the old drivers for fresh install, when that did not work i tried a fresh install of windows 8. Still no luck.
 
If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be VERY appreciated.

    UPDATE:
     
    Installing Windows 7 x64 to see if i can play around with different drivers, since both GPU's show up in the device manager and are not reporting problems, my next best guess is that it is software related.
     
    UPDATE2:
     
    After trying out an older driver, 296.10, i was able to get some new problems. When attempting to open GPUZ I bluescreen now, also when attempting to enable SLI, the control panel will hang. 
     
    It also stopped the second 460 on the card and the fans shot up to 100% duty cycle.
     
    Looks like I will be needing an RMA but i will try one more driver before I resort to that.
     
    UPDATE3:
     
    Also no luck with the latest beta driver 304.79. Same BSOD from GPUZ and same hang in NVCP. Will be RMA'ing.
     
    UPDATE4:
     
    I have been messing around with the disabling the HD Audio devices from the FAQ, still no luck with SLI, but when i launch CSS I am able to run the GPU's separate with one physX and the other as the main. What is the deal?
     
    UPDATE5:
     
    Somehow i overlooked that the voltage is only .88v in HWmon instead of 1.0v like it should be. Is this the cards fault or the power supply? I can try later today in a friends system but I don't see why my 850w and my 1000w wouldn't be sufficient.

    Update 9: My RMA has arrived, popped it right in, and everything works fully and wonderfully.

    So what are the voltages on the new one?

    I get 0.975 on GPU 2
     
    and 1.012 on GPU 1
