So I have swapped my 1080FTW for 1080Ti FTW3 and I want to run white like I did with previous card.  Out of the box they run a blueish color so I used this as a custom color to get a nice white on my previous 1080
hue 237
sat 228
lum 184

On EVGA Prec X, on the Ti FTW3 card there are two places to put in a custom color, first same as my previous card which is called "EVGA LOGO LED" and second "BACKPLATE LOGO LED".

My custom color above, which looks like a salmon color in the software preview, works great in the BACKPLATE LOGO showing a nice bright white.  But on the EVGA LOGO LED it actually shows up salmon color on the physical card just like the preview!  Something that the other card didn't do and doesn't match with the backplate logo lol.

Any help please?  (i'm looking for my camera so I can add pics)

Same happens here, so atleast you know you're not alone, though I use red personally.

Edit:
Maybe the LEDs on the FTW3 act funny in general.
I've just set the temperature indicators to white, looks like on one side it's green and on the other side it's white.

Edit 2: I'll add some pictures of my own FTW3 below using white colour setting:

Definitely some blue mixed in there.

Thanks for posting though it didn't help in my situation, very similar to pictures above.

Thanks for that...it helps a bit and looks "more" white but not quite like the way I had it before and the way the backplate is lighting up for me with
hue 237
sat 228
lum 184

But again, thanks since it's a move in the right direction although it's blueish kinda like the stock setting.

You need to realise that every LED is different, and the outcome colour depends not just on the led itself but also how the light fuses together and what materials it goes through.

RGB leds in great majority will generally drift toward blue and that has to be compensated in the first place.

Saying that, you should not waste time trying to figure right colour in HSV colour space and use RGB numbers instead (because if you do input in HSV it gets calculated into RGB anyways) so you can compensate the part of RGB that stands out too much, just as you see it.

The theoretical white would be R 255, G 255, B 255. If your white is too blue then start reducing the B component until it gets whiter.
