This has been the longest I have run this project for a few years.
I hope that being they have tasks that this is the First Sprint

It can stop me from changing over from one project to another without aborting the current ones running.
Being that I am so close to my next badge on GPUGRID I really do not want abort the tasks that I do have now.
Once the Sprint is announced I will set to not get any new tasks but I want to complete the ones that now have.

the bunker-ers don't have much interest in GPUGRID with their 5-day deadlines, after 5 days they risk someone else beating them to the punch (it'll be marked as timeout and resent to someone else)
 
these big BOINC teams (like XS, DPC, SBT, etc) are mostly after CPU projects since they have a lot of CPU resources, but not a terribly impressive GPU footprint, and GPUGRID doesn't have any CPU-only work.

Also you can only download One Task Running and One Task ready to run for each GPU.

there are ways to trick that ;)

This is how it is scored. I don't see where they are hiding anything, there is a thread on the FB website with all the new things they are trying to do to make everyone happy.
A lot of people complained about bunkering and getting a head start on the sprints.
Announcing the sprint at the start and splitting the sprint score into three days
Winners everyday  then divided by three at the end.
 
For sprints, points could be granted each day. Sprint points could be the average of points earned each days.
For example Team A
1st day : Ranking #5 =>10 points.
2nd day : Ranking #5 => 10 points.
3rd day : Ranking #1 => 25 points Sprint points : (10 + 10 +25)/3 => 15 points Team B 1st day : Ranking #1 => 25 points 2nd day : Ranking #1 => 25 points 3rd day : Ranking #2 => 18 points Sprint points : (25+25+18)/3 => 23 points
 
Team B
1st day : Ranking #1 => 25 points
2nd day : Ranking #1 => 25 points
3rd day : Ranking #2 => 18 points Sprint points : (25+25+18)/3 => 23 points

 

I guess it would help stop bunkering to the last day and dropping all the tasks at once.
It would be better off getting as many points everyday so you can place higher everyday.
Then the points are divided by 3, which is the average of the three day challenge.
They have to divide it by three, or the top teams would get 75 points if 1st place everyday.
 
 
I suppose there maybe ties for a position, that could be considered a negative.
 

If it turns out everyone does not like it, we can petition them to change it.
I am not sure if this is for the whole year or just until the league splits into two or three leagues.

Don't think Rosetta was a very good choice for a Sprint in its current state...
