while it's nice that the stats were finally fixed to be what was stated from the beginning, TSBTs intentions were very clear and that fact shouldn't be lost or ignored. they deliberately and intentionally banked on the possibility that the new stats scraping scheme wouldnt work or wouldnt be ready and they planned to take advantage of that, else they wouldn't have been dumping bunkers in the first few hours trying to finesse one more win with their shady behavior. if you think that's an acceptable way to behave in your tribute sprint, then that's your problem. no one else agrees.
You're not wrong. But I am getting some great lolz from my side about the fact that they presumably spent weeks bunkering tasks (Miklos alone had like 70-80 million points in pending GFN credit right after it started), uploaded the bunkers after it started and thought they got the credit for it and would easily win the sprint, just for Sebastien to fix the stats a couple hours later and them lose their 100 million points or whatever it was
Must have been a real rollercoaster of emotions for them especially when they realized they wasted all that time bunkering when they could have been trying to advance their standing in other marathon projects. It's actually quite a bit funnier to me that the stats were incorrect at the beginning and they surely thought they had this one in the bag just for it to be fixed and them realize they don't lol
