My home server is on the other end of the scale compared to the one above. Hosts my back ups, minecraft and teamspeak 3 server just fine though.

50TB isn't nuts if you use the server to backup your entire families info.

I have 2 server, of course you know this but i'm gonna show them off anyways :P First i have a dual xeon system that runs DNS, DHCP, SVN repository, active directory, web server, TS3, 2 seperate minecraft servers, and hosts the applications for monitoring my network and configure it. Will eventually do more but i gotta convert to ESXi and possibly need more RAM. Here is the specs and pic of the beast: Supermicro SYS-6016T-6F barebones system 2x intel e5620 CPU's 24gb of Kingston Value 1066mhz ECC ram 2x Seagate 500gb HDD's in raid 0(server is backed up so its all good LOL) And my file server, currently runs WHS but will be converted to ESXi with a WHS VM as well as solaris express 11 VM sometime this week. Will at that point become not only my main data store, but also be a iSCSI host so that i can remove the HDD from my desktop and also setup TFTP and run our HTPC diskless Specs: Noro 4020 chassis Supermicro MBD-X7SBA motherboard Intel E6700 CPU 8GB Crucial 800mhz ECC RAM 2x Supermicro AOC-SAT2-MV8 controller cards Areca ARC-1300-4x (future connection to second chassis) Drives are a mixture of seagate, hitachi, and WD ranging in size from 500gb to 2TB Total storage right now is 20TB
