Just something I am wondering if anyone has been able to get lucky with a 980x, classified 3, and 24gb of ram yet with a particular ram kit without any hitches or issues.  I just really need 24gb instead of 12gb at this point... and want to purchase ram once and not play the ram return game.

I'm currently running what you've mentioned. I'm at 4 ghz (133*30) with 24GB of mushkin blacklines at 1600mhz 9-9-9-24. I'm also stable at 4.26Ghz. Im currently searching the forum for some extra vtt info for the 980x since im trying to achieve 4.2ghz using 200 base clock. Im having a hard time getting the memory to run with the same specs at 200 base clock.

Nice, ty for the info, wonder if anyone else is running this setup, wish corsair had a reliable kit I know I could count on like the dominator style heatsinks.
