All I want to know is should I upgrade my 285gtx1gb SLI to a single 570gtx 1280mb? Please respond with your personal experiences and technical answers. Thank you

    IF you dont need it i would say no. hold off for a couple months because kepler is just around the corner. Why upgrade if it is doing the trick :P ? If you upgrade now and kepler comes out 4 months from now offering a better performance for the same cost you might be upseT: P

    In games that do not support SLI, you would see more performance. You would also use less power with one GTX 570. That's the answer you wanted to see. Go buy it now

    GTX 285 SSC's SLI still kickin ass I have no need yet to update. Nothing I have played would get much better for the cost. You might get a little better smoothness and DX11.

    I agree.  I still see no need to upgrade yet, my 280s are still runnin strong.  With Crysis 2 coming out soon and other big dx 11 titles finally coming out I might start thinking about it but I am going to take my time.  Hopefully I will get the same use out of my next upgrade as I did the 200 series.
