So i was playing league of legends today when all of a sudden my comp froze... i thought it was a AMD driver recovery process so i let it sit for just a second. computer was totally unresponsive for the entire event and after 20 seconds i restarted (computer waited to reset upon button press which i thought was weird) only to find a FF post code. was running 100% stock settings and have tried every FF fix/guide/FAQ/tutorial on google to no avail. I bought this board from chew* so im SoL on a warranty from evga. i was wondering if anyone who has had this problem has tried replacing the bios chip themselves. I just ordered one from ebay for the 759 and i am crossing my fingers that it will fix my board. If anyone has any other suggestions feel free to comment.

tried a antec 500w from my 775 system and still the FF code. Going to try to reseat the cpu again but i really dont see how that could be the issue since it was running fine and suddenly froze and gave FF code on restart.

I fixed mine by: 1> Removing the CMOS battery for 15 minutes. That allowed the board to post. 2> Looks like I had some BIOS corruption so I reflashed the BIOS with Ver. 82 (on my 760) and reset it to default. Then I went in and set up the BIOS for memory and CPU.

Hopefully one of the above incantations will get you going. If not, visually inspect the rest of the mobo - chips, caps, and power connectors. My 758 did exactly what you describe. Hole burned in chip. I'm not saying that's what happened to you. Hopefully not... Z.
