BFBC2 on a GTX470

So I got my GTX470 yesterday and immediately got it installed and started playing some BFBC2. The first thing I noticed was that, despite not changing any of the video settings within the game, the load time is significantly longer than it was on my 9800GTX+. A friend on a GTX260 (with less RAM and a slower CPU) also loads faster than I currently do, though he is only playing on Medium/High settings, and not fully maxed out. 

Anyone else notice this, or is it unique to me? I haven't done much to fix it at this point (i.e. I have not tried to change the drivers around or anything like that) in part because I'm not certain that it can be fixed. When I swapped cards I upgraded to 197.75 drivers. Any thoughts?

    It's because of DX11. Known problem with that game from what I have heard.

    Ah, thanks. Do you know if it is possible to disable DX11 to avoid it? I'd rather just load faster...

    the directx setting is on auto by default, replace with 10
    The settings are located in Documents

    I use the 257s and DX11... takes about 10-20 seconds to load a map.

    DUEL- A prearranged, formal combat between two persons, usually fought to settle a point of honor.
    DUAL- composed or consisting of two people, items, parts, etc.
