How do i feed these things more juice

You can download and use MSI Afterburner and adjust GPU Voltage with it. If you have eVGA Precision installed, uninstall that and use Afterburner. If you use both I believe it can cause conflicts and such. MSI Afterburner is the same as eVGA Precision, you can just adjust GPU voltage through it while Precision you cannot. I could be wrong, just don't see it in Precision.

max on afterburner is 1.138. i want more than that.

Hugh? OCing presumes you know more about the performance than the manufacturer does. Sometimes your right, sometimes your not... BTW, an MSI GTX 480 Lightning allows 200 mV over the stock 1.075 (for a total of 1.275 V), but you can never use it.

Know more about the performance than the manufacturer does? noooo, i just know the clocks are not high enough, so how do i apply voltage like that to my evga and galaxy edition card?

Hmm, MSI Afterburner allows my GTX 480SC a maximum of 1150mV by default.

it only shows me up to 1.14xx. and then when i select that it automatically sets it back to 1.1375.
Maybe the bios on your card is limiting the max voltage, and the software is just reflecting the bios programming.

You need to download a modded bios! You can find them on the internet if you really want one. Once you have found and download you modded bios you will need to flash you 480's bios with the modded one. You would be looking for a bios with unlocked voltage control. I also think the SC gives you a little more you could also flash you vanilla with a SC bios. You must also understand that doing this may void your warranty. And you would need to have extreme cooling to increase your volts above standard.
