I joined hardforums last year with the with the reason of entering a new forum, a new community and of course, buying and selling stuff from their famous F/S zone. But in all honesty, now I can easily say that, that community comprises of 90% of haters and antagonizers.

I've gotten three infractions last year due to piety things and just one right for trying to help a guy out buying a PSU on a good deal and this is the PM that I just got:

This guy was selling his X1250 Seasonic for $200 for sometime, just now it went into pending, I'm amazed that no body mentioned it.
All the best,

No why on earth would I make another account just for selling a PSU that doesn't even belong to me, lol? That's the most lamest reason I've ever heard. I'm just glad to say that I'm folding for EVGA and not [H] and neither would I recommend anyone fold for [H] to say the least that they suck bigtime in my eyes.

    Thanks for the heads up.
I was thinking about making an account there for a place to sell stuff, and get more interest in my items.

I think I will pass, probably way more trouble than its worth.

I truly agree man. You can use it for buying and selling stuff and that's all what I use it for, but for other stuff, just don't think twice.

People don't seem to see that just showing a little bit of proper respect and fairness in dealings makes a whole lot of difference.

OCN is a great community too, but as of lately it's literally become a trolls paradise as they're hunger starved for reps.

I can't even keep up with the no. of trolling posts in the delidded Ivy Bridge zone as it goes by really quick and as it's that much off topic, people who're originally asking for help get left out and unanswered. And it's like only I'm the sane one helping them out.

Different strokes for different folks. Find a place that suits you and keep at it. It's unreasonable to expect everyplace to be ideal. Nothing productive can come of complaining about them here other than you venting out your apparent frustration.

Just as we have forum guidelines here for self-promotion I suppose they have guidelines there. You wouldn't get away with linking to a personal sale of a PSU here either if it was outside of the marketplace sub-forum and not formatted to requirements.

Ultimately, you need to understand that there are dozens of hardware forums. If you have problems with one, don't bother with it and find one better suited. One would assume you're in the EVGA forums now because it currently better suits you. Angsting about [H] is a waste of time.

I think you'll find that most forums wouldn't exist unless there was someone egotistical enough to run them for any extended period of time. Kyle Bennet does not have the market cornered on ego. It's a part of the life skills needed to run something like [H] and all the nonsense that a popular internet website entails. Look at any popular computer enthusiast website and you'll find any number of egos behind it propping it up. You make it sound as though Kyle Bennet is unique for some reason. I've met Kyle before and he seemed a rather personable guy IRL for the two days he worked with me at a previous event. You know full well we have plenty of ego around here too. Some egos are more subtle than others. It's just the way the internet works.

What i really dont understand i got Perma banned for there for selling items, this was a mix-up and due to me being in the army at the time i couldnt get items shipped out in time i asked a friend to do it for me but he forgot. I got a lot of bad rep for that whole mess and H forum gave me the ban hammer... for the entire forum not just selling there i couldn't even go there to buy items or just browse.
