I'm lookign to finally upgrade my system after runnign my 295's for a few years. I'd eventually like to get 2 of these cards but will probably start with one. My question is this, in order to run 2 cards what kind of power supply should i be looking at or will my current 1300w PSU cut it? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817814011 thats my current PSU. If I need to add anything else pls let me know.

Thanks in advance,
Mike

I think 1.3kW is more than enough for 2-way SLI. You should be all set.

    CPU: Intel Core i7 920 D0 @ 3.8 GHz
    CPU Cooling: Thermalright IFX-14
    Mobo: EVGA X58 SLI LE
    RAM: Corsair XMS3 1600MHz 7-7-7-20-1t
    GPU: EVGA GTX580 @ 830/1660/2100
Sound Card: Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi
    Case: Antec 1200

The GTX 580s use even less power than the GTX 295 so you'll be fine.

One last question. What would you guys suggest for a decent PhysX card. Currently i have a old 9800 for dedicated physx. And i figured if im gonna spend some coin on the 580's a newer phsyx card would have to go with?

Your 9800 will work just fine, I wouldn't bother with wasting money on something that wouldn't net you much more than a couple more FPS.

Case - Phanteks Enthoo Evolv X
    Mobo - EVGA X570 FTW
    CPU - AMD Ryzen 9 5900X
    RAM - 32GB Trident Z Royal 3600MHz 14-14-14-34
GPU - EVGA RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra Gaming
    PSU - Seasonic Prime TX-1000
