On page 24 of the manual http://www.evga.com/suppo.../files/132-LF-E655.pdf , it says there is a "DIMM LED (Orange); when the memory slot is functional, this light is on."   I am experiencing the E8 memory error code, and have tried 2 sets of memory in all slot combinations, pushing them in as far as they go, and have never been able to get the computer to POST.  This orange light never comes on when i try to boot.  Does this mean i have dysfunctional ram slots?

You posted this before.  There is no listing of any AMIBIOS that has the post code of "E8".  As we said before call EVGA tech support and RMA the motherboard.   If you memory has voltage of 1.5v to 1.65v on the side and you tried 2 sets, that means the mobo is fried.  RMA!   Edit: not meaning to be tacky.  Also if you got this on-line from another user, he/she may have registered it and if you have the name  & receipt EVGA just might honor the warrenty.
