I dont have an invoice for my 7800 gtx, it was a gift and the S/N & P/N stickers arnt on there. I think the card is dead but i dont know if i can RMA it without having at least some of that information, can someone help me access it another way please ? Thanks, Nitti

WOW, You will definitely have to call them or email.... How about the box still w/ the S/N still on it ?? ...and invoice, Do you know where it was bought and approximately when ??

Don't have the box anymore, and he thinks he got it from micro center but with cash.

Without at least some information the chances of RMAing that card are slim. Call them up and see what, if anything, they can do.

Sadly no, i didnt find out i had to register for lifetime warranties until i got my 8800gt.

If the card was purchased on or before 11/1/06, you wouldn't have to register it for the lifetime warranty. But they do require the invoice and serial number. All you can do is get ahold of Evga to see if they will help you out, but it is a long shot. GL from: http://www.evga.com/support/warranty/ For our retail Graphics Card and Mainboard products that carry a limited lifetime warranty and were purchased on or after June 22, 2005, EVGA will provide a limited lifetime warranty to the original purchaser of each retail product and that the product will not suffer, in material or workmanship, from any defect that adversely affects the performance of the product. This limited lifetime warranty is valid for the life of the retail product, so long as the original purchaser owns the product, based upon the following conditions: - All EVGA Products purchased ON or AFTER November 1, 2006 MUST be registered within 30 days from ORIGINAL DATE OF PURCHASE to receive our limited lifetime warranty. (All products not registered within 30 days will ONLY receive a 1 year limited warranty.)
- Removal and or Defacing of Serial/Part number sticker(s) on ANY EVGA products WILL void ALL warranties.
- Products received by EVGA for RMA replacement that include third party attachments (CPU Heatsink Backplate, Memory chip heatsinks, etc) will have the package returned to the sender. EVGA may choose to remove the 3rd party attachments to continue processing the RMA at its own discretion.
- ALL Defective products sent in for RMA replacement MUST INCLUDE A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL INVOICE / RECEIPT.

i think your going to be SOL because the warranty is void if the sticker containing the P/N and S/N is removed.

the sticker with the S/N should be on the back of the card, not on the box. There is no good reason why it still wouldnt be on there

The stickers not on there, i'm wondering if they can use a program like GPU-Z to get the S/N out.

nope the serial number number is not embedded in the card. you will have to have the sticker to get a rma. was the card purchased before 2006? if it was purchased after that then you have no warranty coverage anyway. look inside your case maybe the sticker fell off in there.
