What is the max operating temp I should see on EVGA Precision for my GTX470SC?  meaning, the temp above which the card will be damaged.  While we're at it, can anyone tell me the max temp for an i7-870?  Right now, while playing SC2 at max settings on a 24" 1920x1080 lcd, I'm running low 70's with the GPU fan at 70% (according to Precision) and high 40's on my cpu (according to E-LEET).  Thanks for any help.

Case: Cooler Master Centurion 5 II
CPU: Intel Core i7-870 (stock)
MOBO: EVGA P55 SLI
GPU: EVGA GTX470 SC (stock)
HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB
RAM: 4GB G-SKILL Ripjaws F3-12800CL7D
PSU: Corsair HX850w
LCD: Viewsonic VX2439wm

105 degrees Celsius.  Not sure about the CPU but you want to keep it below 80 degrees Celsius, preferably below 70 for gaming.

I think nVidia claims you can go up to 105c on the fermi gpu's, but who really wants to run that hot? Low 70's is fine for a GTX 470. As for the i7-850, high 40's is fine also. I believe around 86c you start to get a cpu throttle back. Not sure if it's really a throttle back, but the cpu will not perform as well. Damaging temps for both? I would say going above those temps your getting in that area. Voltage would be of concern also, even whiten the proper temp range.

Are you saying above 86C? or above what I'm running now?  Thanks for the responses.
