Ive had my EVGA GTX 460 SC for about a little over a month now. Was working great for the first 2-3 weeks i had it. Its been having tons of problems recently with my card overheating to artifacts showing up on my screen.

Crysis^

I know my cooling is fine I have a Haf 932 Cool Master's Case. On Crysis temps max at 94c with the fan up to 70. Idle 30-36 Ive heard these cards clock easy so I tried a card clock on evga precision 800/1600/1950 and doesn't run stable. Ive also tried the factory clock temps are still the same artifacts still tend to show up but rarely. In World of Warcraft my game tends to freeze ALOT for about 20 seconds when im just runing around or just flying around. I know the card shoudn't be acting like this. Ive tried the new Beta drivers and it seems to be the same. I have a 600 wat PSU im sure this is enough. Ive put in my EVGA GTX 260 SC and all the problems disapear so the card must be the problem. Sorry for waiting this long to post my problem im having but i was hoping the 260.63 beta drivers would solve my problem and they havent. Any suggestions?

Do you see or get artifacts before you get into windows then it's definitely a bad card.

Yup your card is definitely busted or you got your rig in a boiler room or something cuz I've never been able to get my 460 over 60C even at full load running furmark!

I called Evga And they said sometimes in shipping the screws on the card come loose.

Tighten them up so the heat sink will once again squeeze tight where it needs to.

But i am also running the temps you are....

Im going to try this later today.

The card has overheated and caused artifacting?  I would RMA without hesitation.
