    Not too shabby, did you notice what your temps were on cards? I think it was Galaxy that shipped a 465 pre release instead of a 470. You might double check to see what GPU is there,lol And Welcome to the EVGA forums.

    Thanks, I might have a GTX470 you say and complain?  Or what exactly is the downside I should be looking for again

    No downside at all.:) I was just noting I think they're the company that released that version by mistake,before the release date. Tried to find the thread, no joy.Nice rig ,enjoy.

    Thanks for the links and clarification in a PM.  I did check my temps and specs and they are a GTx465 for sure and the behavior of them is very similar to tweaktown reviews SLI OC'ing of this Brand.  I would have bought EVGA as they were going for same price, but temps were reviewed as higher on EVGA which had a impact on what I purchased.

    Temps idle about 40c GPU1 44c GPU2 and load highest seen is 78c GPU1 86c GPU2 even OC'd Max with fan on auto.

    Changing OC up 101 to core 708 - Shader 1416 - Memory 1607 did not change benchmark scores but did give minor artifacting in FarCry2 benchmark.

    Changing OC to core 804 - Shader 1830 (max) Memory 1625 did pass three runs on FarCry2 benchmark but visible artifacting was present (like a B rated movie) however temps did not rise anymore then when not OC'd with fan on auto. I doubt water blocking would pump up usability with this card any more either.  Needless to say, I will not be OC'ing this SLI setup as it will give no benefit.

    I see your specs are very similar to mine.  Nice setup btw.   I am new to both SLI and 3 Monitors in the latest generation, so bare with me a little.  I worked on call 24/7 in the medical field and find playing games my best release thus spent the money on this setup instead of flying somewhere this year.  I wasted alot of time installing older games and tweaking them to attempt to get them to work, LOL.

    I just bought Dirt2 on the shelf today at best buy (20.oo) and noticed that with 3 monitors with all high settings I was getting 19fps, when I turned all details on low, it was getting 42fps thus I could play a racing game with that.    I believe Anandtech is in the process of doing a thorough review as I type this.

    FOUND THE BENCHMARK IN THE Dirt2 GAME:

    Ultra Low Setting
    SLI 1 monitor Ave 176.6  Min 146.7   With 3 monitors Ave 59  Min 45.2

    Low Setting 3 Monitors Ave 43.8  Min 34.5  (this would be the highest setting I would play the game with three monitors)

    Ultra High Setting
    SLI 1 Monitor 97.5  Min 79.2    With 3 monitors Ave 22.5  Min 16.3

    I did play Oblivion and it is like a new game with 3 monitor.  It just takes advantage of 3 monitors in gameplay with no special effort.  Thanks Bethesda for this game longevity.  No lag whatsoever but that is expected with two GTX465 or your two AMD 5870 in CF.

    Crysis in three monitors was not playable with all high settings, medium showed fluid movement, would probably go to to low(er) settings for optimal play

    Hey thanks for getting back and trying some more games. I have Dirt2 and I have no problems playing on highest settings with crossfire 5870's. I think I get more then you explained with my one 5870 on triple screen as well. So for now till I see more reviews I don't think 465's would cut it for me. I run 5760X1200 as well so I will just hold out for some more reviews.

    Just a FYI update for those interested in a GTX465 'still' after reading all those cool GTX460 reviews (talk about buyers remorse).  I did tweak the OC on this card by mimicking http://www.techpowerup.com/ which had there OC benchmark settings at 725/1450/3740 (MSI Afterburner allowed 1869, not 1870 so my setting was 3738, not 3740).

    Benchmarks did improve so obviously these settings needed to be balance better by me in the first place.  I saw no artifacting with these OC settings.

    With the settings above
    FC2 SLI 1 Monitor 1920X1200 DX10
    Max 248.79  Ave  149.15  Min 103.47

    FC2 SLI 3 Monitor 5760X1200 DX10
    Max 91.55  Ave 72.00  Min 58.35

    Dirt2 SLI 1 Monitor 1920X1200
    Ultra High = Ave 112.9  Min 90.1

    Dirt2 SLI 3 Monitor 5760X1200
    Ultra Low = Ave 60.3  Min 47.4
    Low  = Ave 44.3   Min 35.8
    Med =  Ave 37.8   Min 27.2
    Ultra High = Ave 25.4  Min 19.00
