Not sure what to do here, I would like to hear a few opinions. I have an 8GB Ipod touch that I got for free. (won in a raffle) I broke it right off the bat, ran over it with a golf cart, I got it repaired for ~$100.00. Well, I broke it again and I am really not sure what I want to do about it. A) Spend another $100.00 and get the digitizer replaced again. B) Spend a few more dollars and upgrade to a larger Ipod. C) Spend my money on a different system (Zune or other) and lose what I've spent in Apps for the Ipod. Assuming I can convert the music and movies for use on another system.

I don't know about the Touch's, but the ol Ipods are very durable. I had mine fell to the ground hard like a million times and still works flawlessly. I would say get the 16/32GB Ipod Touch, lol =P.

How about B and E? Answer E: Skip the touch and get a Ipod Classic. They are quite durable, not able to take a gold cart mind you , but should be able to handle most other things.

Depending on how much music/movies you have I'd upgrade to a newer Ipod touch. I've had 1 touch, 1 iphone, and atleast 4 regular ipods and all of them are still working many years later. But I don't run over mine too often

Thanks for the suggestions. I went with (B) Lovin' all the breathing room with the 64GB Touch I was always shuffling things around with the 8GB.
