Anyone still using this sound card with their PC and playing Diablo IV? When I try to play audio through my headset powered by the Nu Audio Pro, the audio cuts out. If I change the audio source to my external DAC which powers my speakers, no issues with sound. I don't seem to have any issues with audio on any other games. It's just Diablo IV where I cannot get sound working. Is this an issue with the audio drivers?

If you open the "Sound Control Panel" in Windows (Under playback, double click your headphones).

Choose the Advanced Tab and then uncheck all of the Exclusive Mode check marks.
    • Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device
    • Give exclusive mode applications priority
Please see if this helps you.

Unchecked both settings as requested and as soon as I load into the realm, I lose sound. If I tell the game to use the EVGA card, I can hear sound momentarily, and then it just goes silent. If I change the game settings to default, I again get sound for a moment and then I lose it again. I'm attempting to scan and repair my downloaded game files to see if there is an issue with the game, but it doesn't seem too plausible since a different audio output works.

What's your audio sample rate and bit depth? 44.1 or 48 khz and 16-bit have the best compatability.

Good call on the sample rate.

Originally had the sample rate as 24 bit, 41000 Hz, which wasn't working. On my external DAC, I had 24 bit, 48000 Hz, which was working, but it still didn't work when I changed this on the Nu Audio Pro card. Since I had no luck, I just applied the Windows default, and low and behold, it works. 32bit, 48000Hz working! Honestly, don't recall changing the sampling rate, but I've had this card for a while now. Weird this was the only gaming giving me issues with sound.

    Thank you!
