Was wondering if this cpu is compatible with my bord. Anyone know ?

    Interesting question, not on list & several years newer that the last listed E5-2695 V3 .... I do not have an answer for you, maybe someone else has tried & will share their outcome
     
    There are posts out there where people have mentioned using it in their "other brand" of X99 MB .... so it seems it Might work

    Seems that v3 CPU (above) listed on the compatibility list ----->>> V3 CPU has one major difference --->>> Intel® Transactional Synchronization Extensions = No
     
    I believe ECC RAM would not be supported by any CPU on the MB
