We had great success last year and we sure appreciated you all for coming over to help. We're going to do it again. We have some sponsored prizes from Corsair (tbd what exactly), as well as some in-house goodies. Similar to last year, the top 3 folders will get first choice prize picks and the rest of the prizes will be random draw. Remember, register at EHW and post in the contest thread. Also during the challenge you need to be running 239902 as your team ID (afterwards change back to EVGA). Hope to see you all again for some crunching fun. https://extremehw.net/top...th-26th-2024-0000-utc/

Hi Damric, I'm considering joining. I noticed on the contest thread @ ExtremeHW, the main contest banner says the 24th 00:00UTC. Then underneath the banner it states: Start Time: February 23 00:00 UTC , End Time: February 27 00:00 UTC. It seems a bit confusing to my pea brain. Help? I'm in US CST, so that makes it 6PM start [the day before] for whichever date is correct.... I think.

LMAO I love you man. You were the only one to notice that date discrepancy out of all the forums I have spammed, a 6 month planning committee, and an inner circle of planning geeks. Hell I don't even know now and I'm the Team Lead. I'm going to bring this back to my boss and the guy that makes the banners and get clarification! Edit: I just checked. Just the banner is wrong. Should be 23rd 00:00 UTC, which is actually Thursday evening the 22nd for North Americans. I'm going to talk to our artwork guy now and I'll be back with a new banner hopefully soon like tomorrow! But yeah man definitely join. CoolGTX was with us last year and somehow won two nice AIO CPU Coolers. The Corsair stuff just got verified today. There's supposed to be an EK water block direct die thing but I don't have exact details on that yet. Plus we have some in-house goodies. Good chance to get something. I think last year we had like 50 prizes and 150 people competing by the end.

Thanks for the clarity. :) Are you guys/gals accepting prizes besides the ones mentioned? CoolGTX is one of our top folders I would like to emulate. I'm just not rich like him. Plus he is just awesome.

We are, but they get screened by me and one other guy because we have had some weird stuff happen in the past. Just P.M. me what you have, condition (like new in box, open box, ect), and I'll get you an answer. edit: oh yeah and if it's available to be shipped just within your country or open to international shipping. Yeah CoolGTX, I think he either won or came in close second last year. He put up a ton of points and made everyone work much harder so we were thankful for him.

Reminder, 1 week to go, so get your hardware ready so that you aren't busy troubleshooting on day one :D The Corsair prizes are confirmed. Have a look. They are generous this year. Also some EK water blocks and a few nice new in-house merchandise up for grabs. If you are new to folding and need some help setting it up, you can hit me up here, the EXTREMEHW forum or discord, or one of the other major tech forums.
