While the firm will showcase several of its upcoming products at the event, a notable addition is the HP OMEN Transcend 32 OLED gaming monitor, which is yet another instance of expanding the segment of OLED displays, this time done by a relatively new competitor. The monitor is not only a testament to HP's approach with the Transcend lineup as a whole, but its revamped and cutting-edge features show the company's dedication to contributing to the gaming monitor industry.

Diving into the specifications, the HP Omen Transcend 32 OLED gaming monitor will feature a 32-inch UHD display that reaches up to 4K in maximum resolution. Moreover, the panel's brightness is rated at 1000 nits and the monitor also features support for AMD FreeSync and Dolby Vision. HP has made it clear that they mean business when it comes to the display quality of their upcoming monitor, however, the features specifically designed for gamers will indeed surprise you.

The HP Omen Transcend 32 Gaming monitor will reportedly feature a unique cooling technology, dubbed the "Omen Tempest Monitor Cooling Technology", that is aimed at reducing screen burn-in, giving consumers better thermal dissipation, and removing the worry of getting high temperatures on their monitor panels. Moreover, the monitor is expected to come with in-built KVM functions, which will make it the industry's first to feature an independent switchable USB port interface.

In terms of onboard ports, the Transcend 32 will come with 1x DisplayPort 2.1, 2x HDMI 2.1, 1x USB-C upstream (Full-featured, DisplayPort Alt mode, Power delivery 140W), 3x USB-A 3.2, 1x USB-C 3.2, and 1x USB-C with for data connection (15W). HP hasn't revealed details such as pricing and release date, but we expect them to be unveiled somewhere around the CES 2024 event period.

I'm curious what HP will do with the pricing.

I have one of their earlier omens and like it.

Nice. I've heard good things about Omen.

I'm waiting on the final specs and pricing on the Alienware AW2725DF (expected to be announced in January) - apparently 360Hz 27" 1440p flat screen. I sit fairly close to my monitor, so 27" 1440p is good. My main concern with OLED is burn-in, however this one is supposed to come with a three-year OLED burn-in warranty.

It's weird they chose an example image with such weird contrast.
