So my Fan was rattling bad so I decided to fix it which isn't an issue because I've done it a couple dozen times. I unplugged the fan super gently and plugged in the new one. When I went to boot up it didn't spin at all, not even on boot. X1 showed that there was only 2 fans. So i thought it was a dead fan and I would return it and order a new one. I unplugged the new fan and plugged in the old one and booted up. This time I noticed only 1 fan was spinning on boot and X1 only recognized 1 fan now... great.
I'm not sure what I did wrong. I grounded myself before changing the fan and double checked that everything was fully seated. 
In HWinfo it shows fan 1 is at 50% and fan 2 is at 0% and then down lower on the list is shows Fan 3 is at 100% at 3000rpm
Any help at all is greatly appreciated. I baffled right now and I really don't want to buy a brand new GPU right now and can't RMA because it's out of warranty...
