I just put my computer back together (finally) after like 8 months of downtime, mostly due to my minimal motivation and not wanting to spend more money on it at the time. Anyway, I upgraded to some newer hynix t force 7200mhz memory modules, mainly due to the price of ddr5 coming way down and it seemed a solid upgrade over my corsair 6200 sticks. For whatever reason, I cannot get the rgb to work. My old corsair ones worked but I think I used the corsair software as I was running a commander then as well. I tried to simply my fan/rgb stuff this time but can't seem to get this to work.
I did install signal rgb and I think that actually installed some of the asus aura plugins and then the rgb worked. I don't really want to run signal so was hoping to get this to work without that. I did allow the memory write in the bios as well but still just rainbow puke if I dont have signal on. Any ideas?
PS. I also just updated the the latest version of bios, 2.13 I believe for my z690 kingpin.
