If you are doing this. Did you experience any random black screens? if so or not... please provide a link to the hdmi cable you are using so I may purchase one and try it myself. I'm at a loss trying to rid this issue.

    6ft and $10 -

    10 Ft and $7.20 -

I've been told 10ft / 3m is about the limit for a normal cable and 4K/120, above which you're rolling the dice.  6ft is preferable.  No black screens on either of above.

Yes it did. I was having similar issues with a Sony A90K 48in OLED and a 3090ti FTW3 Ultra and I stumbled across that by accident. I also had a cheaper cable from Amazon that wasn't certified so I went with Monoprice Certified's 10ft and had no more blackout issues.

Interesting, is that statistics display in the normal menus or like a service menu.  I bought the super special remote for my C1, but I've never used it.

Not possible with standard Magic remote.  Needs to be an LG service remote.

Settings->Channels... focus remote on "Channel tuning"... press number 1 on remote 5 times, then use remote's right arrow button to move the cursor to HDMI...  Press OK to display the HDMI diagnostics screen.

It is the service remote right arrow button step that won't work using a Magic remote.

This $7.50 service remote works for me with my CX.

    great that was you wire.

I'm running 4k 60hz HDR,10bits, decoding h.265 and h.264 mkv container , with my HTPC  to my BenQ 4k projector on a Amazon basic 25ft long cable. The card is a gtx960 4gb.

according to linus test, amazon basic are a gambling and not high quality, but mine work fine.

Normally you can get a good quality HDMI cable for not a lot more than a cheap one that works for some and not others. It's very different than 20 years ago when a cable to a television had those Monster cables that cost over $100 for six feet. I don't mind paying the current prices for brands that I hear are good quality now days since the price just is dirt cheap to begin with.

    great that was you wire.

I don't mind paying the current prices for brands that I hear are good quality now days since the price just is dirt cheap to begin with.

exactly, back in the days digital signal could get trough the cheapest metal wire ever.

now, cooper quality and cooper gauge might impact the sender&receiver signal.

BUT ! , most people that got 4k tv, never use the full potential. They wont enable full res @max refreshrate, atmos, hdr, etc. So this is why I still ear people getting 8k tv on cheap dollarstore hdmi cable and works... yeah you running in 720p because you never edit the setting, nor having anything that could send a proper 4-8k signal to your tv. lol
