I'm glad I set up temp alerts for the gpu. Core temp was 80°c (double the usual), mem temps were hitting the throttle point and the hoses were HOT. How can these hybrids last less than a year? I'm glad I got the hybrid kit so I have the heatsink to slap back on temporarily! Is there an extended warranty I can buy for the hybrid kits?

I don't think there is an extended warranty for the hybrid kit. I asked EVGA earlier this year why is the warranty only 1 year and they told me it has always been one year from previous generations and that's it...

Check with your credit card company. my card gives 2 year warranty on items purchased in full with card
    Good luck

This problem is fixable. All you need to do is to tap (pretty hard) on the metal backplate of the card to "kick the motor in" after powering the PC on and all will be well. Try it!

I'd rather try that NEXT time when I no longer have warranty coverage lol.

I paid via paypal, but I'll look into it. I don't remember if the charge went on mt CC/Debit/PP card.
