Just switched out my Gigabyte for the XC3 hybrid while it was on sale. Read on another thread that you can switch fans and run them from a board header instead of the splitter cable on card. Two hopefully quick questions, is there any advantage to running the fans on the motherboard instead? And does the VRM fan have its own hardwired curve? Seems to be the loudest fan now when gaming since even the rad fans only hit 50-ish % at full load and 50c GPU
