Forum Gurus,
So I have a new build with a z590 mobo (i9-11900k, g skill ddr 4 @ 4400mhz, windows 10) and after the OS install with all the updates and EVGA drivers from the their website I had no wifi, BUT if I used an ethernet cable I had internet...just not with wifi.  Device manager had the error with the Network Adapter not working ( Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 160MHz), so for the last 3 days I have been completing both Intel and Microsoft troubleshooting based off of forum posts.  A few of these forums stated the same thing (bad driver file).  I reloaded Windows and the pulled the latest driver from Intel and still same thing.  Another had you drill down into the driver/properties/advanced and click on each drop down (I believe it was speed selection) and none of them work.  So last night another person said they had a bad wifi card.

I have the card housing off the motherboard and with a meter, I ohm'd out between the two antenna terminals on the card and the screw holding the card in place.  I have continuity between all 3 points. Between the two antenna posts I could understand, but with the Wifi card housing removed from the motherboard I was not expecting the screw holding the card in to be electrically connected.  So does that seem right?
Your time/knowledge is appreciated...if this is normal, then I am back to square one with wifi driver issues.

An update after I talked with Tech Support, the ohm's check readings were normal and with code 43, it very well could be a wifi card (after you make sure you have all the current drivers).  So I assembled the mobo and put it all back together thinking I would be hitting the forums all weekend looking for a solution.  Turned on PC, no wifi internet, hit the troubleshooter and let it run its course "again", said it wanted to reset windows (or reset something) in 5 minutes.  Let the machine do it's thing, came back and I have wifi now.  I ran that same troubleshooter countless times in the last 3-4 days.  I do have a new wifi card on order 10 bucks on eBay or 22.00 on Amazon, but will run the snot out of it until then.  Frick'n pc gremlins...
