Hi Evga team,

I recently changed my Z690 from Apex to Kingpin. I am really satisfied with the overclocking performance.
But, I have a serious problem with below behaviour.

1) booting is really slow. From showing the Kingpin logo to Windows screen takes almost 10 sec which is 4 times slower than previous board.
2) Kingpin logo is displayed in a very low resolution even though I set the CSM disabled and UEFI mode.

I suspect that the root cause of 2 problems is same.
Here is the system spec.

- Intel i9 12900K, Teamgroup 6400 ram
- Samsung 980pro NVME, 1TB
- Nvidia 3080 ti FE
- Dell 3821DW

Could you please give an advice to resolve this problem?

Thanks in advance,
Bumhan

Is there an inherent issue with waiting the extra time?

If I remember correctly, fastboot is disabled by default on the kingpin whereas the Apex has it enabled. Could be the difference.

Enabling Fast Boot in the BIOS will speed the boot process, but there is a downside.  You'll have to use MSconfig to boot to the BIOS if you want to enter it in the future.  Sometimes that won't work and you'd need to clear the CMOS to get back to the BIOS.  Personally, I wouldn't enable Fast Boot in the BIOS to save a couple seconds.  There are other issue's that Fast Boot can cause.

You should also look to see what apps/programs you have set to run at startup.  Things like that will slow the boot time.  The Task Mgr will show some of the non MS programs loading at startup under the "StartUp" tab.

Yes, I suspect there is an inherent issue and windows is waiting for some device or something on spinning circle.
I turned on fastboot and tried to change GPU from Nvidia 3080 ti FE to AMD 6900xt, but it does not resolve the problem .
