i think i remember seeing a post somewhere or at least for the 3080 (non ti) that you will lose functionality on one of the displayports with the strix bios, also apparently the power limit was totally broke so i dont think this bios works well with these cards, however the msi suprim x bios appears to work for some people on the (non ti) so possibly similar, i personally dont see the need the gains you will get will be very minimal in game unless your wanting to try and set benchmark record there really is not much point.

I tried pretty much all of them last year on my 3080ti FTW3 with no luck increasing the PL. The only bios I've found to increase the PL is the Galax 1kw bios.

The strix bios isn't better. In fact people flash the ftw3 or the Galax 1000w bios for benchmarks. You'd be wasting your time esp since the ftw3 bios is 450w

Well I had some hope at least one of them wouldn't limit in the 400-430w range in most games like the FTW3 bios, but they were all the same or worse in cases where they were incompatible. None will brick the card, even 2x8pin, but none provided more power either.

I'm pretty sure me and you have some of the highest 3080ti scores on air and between us have tried just about everything there is to try lol. I def hit like 440w indicated on gpu-z which would translate to 465w+/- but it didn't equate to any higher scores.

Did you loose any DP ports? And which one if yes? And with Asus vBIOS do you control all fans with one percentage (including the 3rd one? I am not doing it for more power btw. I'm doing it for fun honestly (and in why not basis) and for the additional out the box 15mhz boost

IIRC, the Asus bios was incompatible to the point of not even being as stable. Several behaved that way. Looking at my directory of bios files that I labeled as working or not working, only the Palit really worked correctly but it's only 440w. Of the non working, there are bios files there from Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, and Zotac. I even tried the 3080ti XC3 when EVGA updated it hoping it might trick the card in to drawing more power (that worked on the 3090 IIRC). But didn't work in this case.

What are you using to load the GPU? I've no problem hitting a bit over 450 watts as reported by GPU-Z and HWinfo. Either MSI Kombustor or MSFS 2020 are a couple that will truly load the GPU 100%.
