Hi! I was wondering several things about this mouse (the 903-W1-17GR-KR) before buying it, since shipping from Florida to LATAM just to be DOA or last a month it would be extremely disappointing, my doubts are: - If they had solved the problem of the Chinese Omron D2FC-F-K switches with their super short life span.
- If they had fixed the problem of the super fragile mouse wheel.
- With the package in LATAM, do I have any hope in the guarantee if the mouse fails?
- Anyone has a opinion about this mouse?, there is so little opinions, and the only ones only talks negatively about my first two doubts.
Any answer is appreciated

I have been using an X17 since the they first came out and haven't had a single problem. I can't say that I have done millions of clicks but I don't think that they respond any different today than when I first got the mouse. I also feel that the wheel has held up fine so far. I feel it's a pretty good gaming mouse and for the holiday sale is really a steal at $24.99 with free shipping. It's a gaming mouse and while if money was no object you could find a better option but I feel even at the regular price it's worth considering.

If you have any doubts your best option is to purchase it locally since you should have warranty with the place of purchase instead of having to ship it back to the US for a replacement should anything happen. Double click issues with any of the 50-60 million Omron switches is a 50/50 regardless of what mouse they are installed into. This is something that we or any other mouse manufacturer have control over other than using completely different switches. I've been looking into other switch options for future products. The scroll wheel issue was with a small batch. With how many mice that have been sold its not a wide spread issue though if anyone has any issues please contact our support team.

Maybe you should try to make a post in r/MouseReview, Razer somethimes makes polls about hardware, or in another hardware forum like Tom's Hardware or LinusTechTips, just as a idea lol. I think i'm going to buy the x17, ty for the answers!

I like my X17. I cannot say that I have not had any issues with it. So far the issues only happen if I open UnleashRGB. Since that's not something that needs to be opened for anything other than changing settings, it's not that big of a deal to me. I probably wouldn't even mention that if the software was as stable as what comes with the Torq X10. That being said, I use it daily for work and gaming and it's nicer to my hand than the Torq ever was (Or the Razer Spectre Heart of the Swarm edition before that). It has more accurate up and down tracking than my Logitech G502, but I can't say that I like it more. I use it more, but that might be just to justify buying the X17 when I didn't actually need a new mouse.

It's an ok mouse if you get it on sale for $25-30. I had the x17 but my rabbit ate the cord before I got to use it much. I bought the x20 when it came out and the first one was DOA. I had to pay more the ship it back for RMA than it actually cost for the mouse. The replacement works fine, but I'm finding that I just want to plug my Logitech 502 back in. The fact that you have to have 5 profiles, that each profile has 5 DPI settings and the fact that it's SUPER EASY to hit the switch buttons by mistake means that I often don't know what profile I'm on and what DPI I'm at.

I miss the profile switch button on the bottom of the mouse like the Torq. But also, what did you set them to, or are they non-changeable on the X20? I have mine set to right wheel button and center wheel button. In general I don't click the middle wheel button on any mouse because the chances of scrolling are too high. With the X17 I don't click it because the chances of hitting the left wheel button are too high. (I don't blame EVGA for that, I blame whoever the first person was who thought left and right buttons on the wheel were a good idea.)

I don't even use the profile switch button, i just use one profile and reduced my DPI settings to just 3 choices, 1 for gaming, 1 for regular browsing and a higher sensitive one...for i don't know why. Also re-mapped the buttons to be DPI up and DPI down for my x17. I guess having the profile light up with the 3 dots n the side like DPI would be helpful.

Hehe, I totally have that too. jimsta2k I guess having the profile light up with the 3 dots n the side like DPI would be helpful.
The mouse wheel light changes color for a second to indicate what profile was just activated.
