How to set a button as CTRL on X-15 ?

I cannot find it on any buttons key maps' If I have to do it as a macro I tried that and my macro skills are lacking and it only works hit or miss. So some idea what the macro should consist of might help. Thanks for any help.

    Under the Key Assignment tab, select which button you want to remap and from the drop down go to Keyboard Remap > Edit > there you can select either the left or right ctrl function.

    Perfect. Thanks. I guess I should have seen it but, it doesn't seem intuitive (at least not to my old butt).

    Why either left or right ctrl function? Don't they do the same thing? Seems superfluous to differentiate between the 2 <_< Now if they DO in fact operate differently then that is a DEFINITE game changer for me XD

    They do report as different keys, and some games take advantage of that fact.
