what card should i get for gaming and budget at the same time. I  dont want to upgrade next year though. one that lasts for a while

    I like RTX.. but it depends by your personal use.

    It depends on what games you want to play, at what graphics quality & how much money you are willing to spend for that. Other people can't decide that for you. Ultimately, right now you will pay a lot for what you get, but the high prices are expected to last for at least another year.
     
    If I needed a new GPU, I would focus on getting one for MSRP. For example, the EVGA 3060 TI seems relatively good value at MSRP. Unfortunately, the queue seems to be closed now.
