Hi all, I just received my new 3070 Ti FTW3 from the waitlist, installed it into the the build did a few runs of TimeSpy with it, then ran Heaven 4.0 with stock setting to check the temps, ~3min in, screen went black and won't post again Here's what I've done: Rebooted many times Switched DP/HDMI ports, different monitors re-seated GPU Switched between OC and normal GPU Bios Re-installed Nvidia driver reset CMOS Tried to boot with 1 RAM stick Put a 3080 Ti FE in the same system to verify all other components are working, posted and worked as normal Put the 70 Ti in the 80 Ti's system, it didn't post, clearly something is wrong with the GPU System Specs: Ryzen 7 5800X Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite 4X8GB GSkill Trident Z Neo 3600C16 Samsung 980 1TB Gskill MB850G Current 3070 Ti behavior when booting: led turns on but fans don't spin; yet, backplate & heat sink feels cold even when system is on for a while I don't know what else I can do but RMA it, if any EVGA associates reading this please provide me with an Support Ticket Number

Contact support, but for fun, I looked into some reviews on your PSU, they are sorta all over.

Nozler Hey I got an idea let's buy a new car and mash the throttle down four an hour or two. Lets see what happens. Oh IDK what happened I'll rma it Did you monitor your temps and such while you were, ah hem testing, just curious what the temps were?
Not sure why your first paragraph needed to come of as extremely rude, but running Timespy and Heaven should absolutely not be an issue, and does not evenly remotely compare to holding a car at full throttle. There is no need for that.

My guess is prb. PSU may have failed? Do you happen to remember what the temps were? But this sounds like it may need to be something you contact support for. Best of luck

I'm not sure if it's the PSU and its cables bc I put another card on the same build everything still worked. Didn't screen shot the temps but I remember it to be ~62C core, ~70 hot spot,~68 mem

I think you've isolated it - GPU's do come out bad sometimes. Can you try the 70 on a different MB/system?

Not to pile on Nozler, but Unigine Heaven is DX11 and one of the lightest benches/stress tests you can run by modern standards. But DX11 can certainly cause a protect shut off, at least of a PSU. OP: I'd say since your tried it in an entirely different system with no post, you can confidently RMA. Only other thing I can think of is to try to boot it on a system with display on I-GPU and see if you can recognize the card, or put it in as a secondary GPU.
