Does anyone know if EVGA plans to honor the originally MSRP for people in the step up queue? I saw in the notification thread that they will honor the MSRP for general queue until a certain date.

This is posted on the 3080 product page: SPECIAL EVGA 30 SERIES UPDATE NOTICE: Due to ongoing events, EVGA has made price adjustments on the GeForce RTX 30 Series products. This change was necessary due to several factors and will be effective January 11, 2021. EVGA has worked to reduce and minimize these costs as much as possible. For those who are currently in the EVGA.com Notify Queue system or Step-Up Queue, EVGA will honor the original MSRP pricing through April 16th, 2021 if your purchase position is processed before this date.

Thank you. I don't think I'll make it by 4/16 since I got in late.

I am sure European customer protection has to say something about this. You not going to get more money from me. Either honor the price or give me back my money for the current card.

On the bright side it's not like people are paying more then retail. Unfortunately retail changed which unless you already found a card it's now the price for entry into this generation.

So they're going after Trump then? Because he is the one that imposed the tariffs on Chinese exports...So blame him (and even if you are not in the USA, it affects the markets worldwide, as most products are shipped to the US and then distributed globally).

It's amazing how people still suffer from TDS. Absolutely stunning! No, European products are not shipped to the US first. To even entertain such a thought is completely insane.

Europe Retail has taken the stance that instead of fighting scalpers by securing their shops against bots, they now have become the scalpers. A RTX3090 is 2500 Euro or $3000 US. A 3080 is 1200 - 1500 Euro or $1500 - $1800 US. I still don't see why i should pay more. I am already waiting patiently for the item which will probably taken over by the next generation before i have it and i am also using up my 5 year warranty.

TDS? Whats that? And ever heard of supply chain? Here, learn something https://www.sourcetoday.c...ectronics-supply-chainLol, good luck complaining and getting your money back. What are those protection agencies going to do? Everything is increasing so companies (not only EVGA, they're all doing it) have to increase prices to remain profitable, they're a business. At least EVGA is being nicer than any other companies and offering a Step up benefit (no one else does) and honoring the prices until April. In case you didn't read the previous posts: SPECIAL EVGA 30 SERIES UPDATE NOTICE: Due to ongoing events, EVGA has made price adjustments on the GeForce RTX 30 Series products. that one quite funny statement on evga own page . all these years evga cards produced in taiwan were sent to usa first , and then shipped from usa to eu. last year situation changed due to evga eu office restructurization.

It helps if you are able to read but with the insults and hyperbole you throw around it's no surprise you failed in school. Clearly states it directly on the Product pages: *Orders placed on EU.EVGA.com & DE.EVGA.com & FR.EVGA.com are shipped from our Taiwan warehouse
Last time i checked the Taiwan warehouse is not in the USofA
