Hello, I just picked up an O11D to which I will be moving my system. I have a 360 rad for my 3900x and the 3090 XC3 Hybrid. How would you go about setting these up?
I was thinking 360 exhausting up top, 240 exhausting bottom and add an intake 120 to the bottom as well ( if I can fit it). I have 2 (will get one more) Noctual PWM 140s that I can add as intake to the front side.
Does this make sense? Should I do something different?
Also, I am in the market for a new 1000 W PSU, but they seem to be sold out everywhere. Any idea on when the EVGA ones will be back in stock?
Thanks

Xc3 Radiator on bottom kills the pump over time. Side mount the xc3 Rad and Put cpu Rad at top exhaust.

Since they are 120s with a rad, should I mount them towards the top or bottom? I am guessing keep them in the same exhaust configuration as they came? Will intake from the bottom be sufficient to cool the case? The case will be on the ground on carpet. 360 top exhaust - rad on top of fans I assume. 240 rad on side - rad on the outside and fans on the inside. 3 140 PWMs on the bottom - intake.
Is that right?
Appreciate it.

You can put the fans on the outside of the front side fan mounting bracket with the radiator on the inside. This way you can mount 3 120mm fans on the outside with the radiator mounted to the top two fans sandwiching the fan mounting bracket. The fans should be oriented as Push fans blowing air into the radiator in this config. Mount the radiator with the hoses toward the bottom of the case. [R]|[F] | (Right side of case when looking at the front) [R]|[F] | <<< air flow |[F] | Then put the 360 Rad for your CPU AIO on the top with the fans on the inside as Push exhausting out the top of the case. (top outside of case) ________ [R][R][R] [F][F][F] ^^^^ air flow I may be wrong but I don't think the O11D supports 3x 140mm fans in the bottom? I think it has mounts for 3x 120mm or 2x 140mm? Either way I'd populate those with fans configured as intake fans blowing fresh air up toward the top of the case. The front and back feet on the O11D should keep it up enough for some airflow unless you have some really thick carpet. I'd also populate the rear 120/140 mount with another exhaust fan. This would yield you 6x intake fans (either 3x 120mm and 3x 140mm or 6x 120mm) and 4x exhaust fans (3x 120mm and 1x 140mm) which should give you positive pressure pretty easily to help minimize dust buildup.

Thank you! You cant imagine how much I appreciate this feedback. Yes, you are right,120s only not 140s, so I'll need to get more fans.

It clears but its a tight bend... I had mine vertical but didn't like the look so I went back to horizontal and its been working fine so far. So no need for a vertical mount in my case...

I have this case and a 3080 FTW3 hybrid installed right now. I had originally mounted my CPU AIO (360) at the top as exhaust and the GPU AIO at the side for intake, as well as three fans at the bottom for intake. Temps were generally fine (GPU didn't go above 60 or so while gaming), but I wanted to try something else. I decided to swap the GPU and CPU AIOs, so now I have my GPU AIO at the top for exhaust and my CPU AIO at the side for intake. This didn't change my GPU temps at all, but it has noticeably improved my CPU temps because the air coming in from the side is now cooler than it was before. It was a bit of a tight squeeze in the case with the CPU hoses getting in the way of the triple PCIE cables, but I made it work and I'm happy with the results.

I have the 3090 XC3 Hybrid, man I am wishing I had gone with the FTW3. It's not even eligible for step up :(. Hope to figure out a way to upgrade.
This sounds promising.
Does anyone know which fans the hybrid aio uses? I'll buy one more and set it up as PopinFresh recommended.

What is the length of your cpu aio hoses? Id like to do this as well, but not sure 400mm will be enough. I'm using a kingpin so power cables are on the side (i.e., near case front panel, not window) not widow side like ftw3 hybrid

@Carmen813 I'm using the EK AIO, which is also 400mm. It manages to reach but it wouldn't reach if I mounted the radiator in the back of the case, like someone suggested to do with the GPU radiator in this thread. I'll send a pic of my setup once I get to 10 posts haha.

Similar setup I'm looking into but with the O11D ROG XL. I wonder if the AIO tubes are long enough for that same setup...

Oh great, I have the new EK Elite AIO. If I can make it the intake, that is by far ideal, but I'm not sure it'll reach (case shows up in a couple days)

I used the Phanteks one, it works pretty well and it's cheap. Just had to set it to PCIE 3 in my mobo bios. I think a vertical mount with this card in this case is necessary because of the tubes coming out.

Hmm, is glass on side to close for horizontal mount? Asking cuz I have a sound card and a capture card going in as well. I have dynamic XL which I think is a tad bigger.

You have a Kingpin correct? The width of that card with the hoses I don't think it will fit horizontally with the left side panel on without kinking the hoses. Clearance is 169mm if you can measure your card. Also I have an O11D-XL and it is not any different in terms of width. It is taller with more space at the bottom to have room for a radiator. The XL also has a 2-slot vertical cutout which looks to be for a vertical GPU mount but there is no documentation on it and no vertical mount for it available from Lian-Li.

I changed the riser cable otlut to a 4.0 one. Hell no I don't want to have to reinser the GPU when I apply bios updates to my kotherbo. That would be a headache. I bought a Linkup 4.0 riser and sold the riser that came with the phanteks for $25 online.

Thanks, I only have one more thing left to do and hopefully I can stop tinkering with my system. When I had 4 push-pull ML120 it maxed out at 52C and averaged 50C. I made a post here about it. https://forums.evga.com/m/tm.aspx?m=3174809I have now sacrificed Performance for aesthetics, got the QL120 fans with the ML120 behind the radiator and I now max out at 55C. quote=heyitsqi] Those of you rolling with the O11D, how did you mount the radiator with the tubes at the bottom? The O11D and the O11D-XL are essentially the same size except the XL is taller. The side mounting bracket is adjustable so you can leave the extra vertical space at the bottom and mount the radiator in essentially the same relative location to the card/motherboard. In reference to Vgomez916 picture, that is a tight stretch for those hoses imo and I'd recommend mounting your GPU radiator in the top instead if it is that tight. Alternatively you could flip the radiator with the hoses on-top (just make sure the pump, e.g. your GPU, is not the highest point). It's more likely that the CPU AIO will reach the side mount without being tight so I would probably just go that route.
