Hey all! I am on the search for an RTX 3070 to pair with my I7-10700k on the Z590 platform (Gigabyte Z590 Pro AX MOBO) and I am wondering if I have to force Pci-e gen 3 in my motherboard bios since 10th gen CPUs only support up to Pci-e gen 3 and Z590 has Pci-e gen 4 support. Also, my NVMe SSD (WD Black SN750 Pci-e gen 3) was not working when put into the top NVMe Pci-e slot on my motherboard, but it worked when I put it in the 2nd slot. Do you think that has anything to do with forcing the Pci-e gen 3 compatibility in the motherboard bios as well? Thank you for your help!

11th gen has an extra set of pcie lanes for nvme drive which is why the one slot does not work on 10th gen.  You should not have to manually set PCIE link speed, just leave it on auto.
