3080 ftw3 click or tick noise / fan 3 slow to respond in x1

My card seems to make loud single click or tick noise when under load,    then will do it again when the load stops
Also fan 3 seems to lag when adjusting settings in x1, kinda weird
 
Anyone have something similar 
 
 
edit:  i can sometimes just wiggle the card abit with my hand it will make the noise real loud, maybe something in flexing when it gets hot?

    It seems that Afterburner slowly really up the fans while Precision X1 makes fan #3 jump immediately to 30 percent so that the clicking isn't noticeable.

    Apparently fan #3 isn't intended to spin between 1-29 percent but to remain at 0 or jump to 30. That is what's causing the clicking on FTW3 cards (at least on my 3070 Ti FTW3).

    It appears as this is a non-issue in Precision X1 or an "unintended" issue with Afterburner. Not ideal that this issue even exists but with stock behaviour it is not happening 😅
