At Idle I sit around 30-34c 1440p and with everything max after 15 to 20 minutes of gameplay The Witcher 3/Borderlands 3/SW battlefield 2 max temp of 71-74c Cold War/Gears 5 max temp is at 62-65c Apex or anything less then that I will hit around 60c Everything starts off about 5c lower and slowly over time it reaches max temp. Just installed my hybrid kit a few days ago as well as updating the BIOS and was just wondering if I installed it correctly or if there is something I could of done better. I did switch the radiator fans to the Corsair QL Series, Ql120 which has a max RPM of 1600 and Don't know if I should reinstall the fans that came with the hybrid. Ambient temperature is around 23c and I have the fans on the radiator pushing air out. when I exit a game Temps go from 70c to 55c within 2 seconds. This is my first hybrid card so I don't know about how the temperature should look but felt like they should of been in the lower 60c. let mw know if anything comes to mind I would really appreciate it. I will try tightening the four screws of the GPU a bit more to see if that was the issue and will report back tomorrow. - Port Royal - Time Spy

Ok, solved my own issue. When I have both the side and top panels off my Temps drop down to 65c so a full 10c on all games. I guess the it time so find a solution

Those QL fans are garbage. And even worse at moving air through radiators. They just look pretty. Sorry but it’s true.

My temps idle in the 20s, and it takes a lot for it to break much past 60c. I have the fans mounted as an intake, so it'll be warmer if you have it as exhast.

It's your fans. The rad is heat soaking, and the fans can't move enough air to cool it off. The QLs don't have very high static pressure. The White LL120s (2500 rpm), or the ML120s (1800 rpm) are the best to use for rads if you want to use Corsair fans. Otherwise, put the stock EVGA fans back on. On my 3080 Hybrid, I use 4 white LL120s in a push pull. My temps never get over 50C when gaming.

More/better case fans or switch the rad to intake. Still need good airflow through the case either way though.

Yes the y are garbage, I see that now. Maybe its time to return them to amazon and find better fans. cmeyer3151 It's your fans. Swapped the QL120 back to the hybrid stock fans and already saw an improvement of about 9c less when gaming. I also lowered the power target to 70% and saw a decrease of about 10-15 FPS in games which I am totally find with. So my temps are around 55c now but would an increase of 300RPM really be beneficial at lowering overall temp? Don't see how I can get below 50c like you good sir, maybe I should still open up my GPU and apply better thermal paste/pads? I already have 8 of these QL120, 6 intake and 4 exhaust, (2 QL120 and 2 stock)

I'm also using QL120 but I have ML120 in the back of them. The QL120 are very poorly radiator fans. That's the reason your temps are high. Mc2Fox

Why do you need to go power than 50C for almost no or absolutely no gains? Increasing your CFM put is also just going to collect a lot more dust in the radiator and your system. I say it's not worth it.
