I just tried plugging my X17 mouse into my Microsoft Natural Keyboard Pro. Yeah, it's a 20 year old keyboard, but I like it.
 
So it makes the plug and play sound, but just doesn't work. I'm guessing it's because the USB interface on the keyboard is old, crusty USB 1.1 (I think). My Logitech G500s, and every other mouse I've plugged in works great with it, though.
 
So does anyone know if I have any hope of making this mouse with with this keyboard? I'd rather not use a USB port on my Thunderbolt dock just for a mouse.
