So I received the email as many of us did about the queue system changing and to go in and remove any items except for the 2 we want, otherwise the queue will default to the oldest 2 items.

So I did that, I went in and removed everything out of my list except the 2 cards I'm looking for a few days ago.  Well in the last 2 hours I've received 2 notifications for 2 different items that I removed a few days ago...  neither of the notifications was for the 2 cards I still have listed as notify.  Soooo yah, now I'm concerned that my queue in general is messed up because it will think that I had the option to buy 2 items already, even though they weren't the 2 items still in my notify list, but I still received notifications...

Any help here eVGA?

If you didn’t buy them, then they don’t count against anything. Receiving a notification is not the same as purchasing a product. You would have to purchase the item that you were notified of for it to count against you, and then it would count against the part number you purchased, or against other part numbers.

just going to say it because this happened to me today too...that is a poor implementation. they've already made a change that was sure to fire up most of the most attentive queue position holders. to then send notis for items you've removed as asked? oof, not a good look imo

granted, the noti i got today was for a PSU I no longer needed...but the effect is the same. it just looks like removing the notis did nothing and folks will buy these items thinking it's a bug...and then when the gpu notis come/don't come as a result, much anger will rain down on the forums

    good luck to all

The queue notifications are for GPU’s and only two GPU’s are allowed on the list.

If you are receiving notifications for non-GPU products, then it shouldn’t be an issue anyway. Some other product were probably put into the “queue” notification list by accident.

Yah I think the point is, I removed these items from my notification list... yet I'm still being notified about them, that's a problem.

It's not, really.  Could you also confirm that these were not notifications that you requested to be resent?

We basically have 3 sets of notification queues right now:  1) 30 Series products, 2) non-30 Series products that we are doing an auto-notify queue (e.g. X570 DARK, ELITE 24-hour products at launch), and 3) non-30 Series products which do not have a queue (such as PSUs that have been out for a while or PerFE cables).  The programming on the notification page is really only there for the first two scenarios, but you can only remove yourself from a 30 Series queue.  When we send notifies for the second (after we remove the queue) or third type, they go out with our bulk notifications as we put them into stock, but the My Notifies page isn't designed to remove you from that list.

Now, if you removed yourself from a 30 Series queue before 10/11, didn't request a resend, and got a notification for the 30 Series card you removed anyway, then I would like more details.
