How desperate are you to get a card? 1660s is fine for 1080p and tweaking some settings. 2060 is no doubt better (25% better), but depends on your budget.
My advice right now would be to just wait and see what happens to the prices, so you can get the card you really want.

I would wait. I am seeing local prices on used cards already dropping . Hopefully the peak of the madness has passed

According to article in pcgamer 30/06/21 "Cryptocurrency miners in China are beginning to sell off GPUs for cheap" So hopefully there will be a large ripple effect, not to mention GPU Producers are also trying to get their products out there We *' MAY' see more supply than demand in a few months. Which *' MAY' cause a drop in price of Cards. *I use the word may very optimistically, as i want a new GPU

what area are you in? I was at local Micro center and they had MSI 3070ti for $950 or Zotac for $1025, I was first one in line but decided not to get it because that is just crazy pricing. Did all manufacture just decide to raise MSRP or something?
